Swelling and agglomeration of CaCl2 limits its applications except for the advantages of low driving temperature and high cyclic adsorption and refrigeration capacity.Mechanism of the effects of the addition of porous materials (attapulgite, activated carbon, silica gel and 13X zeolite) on improving CaCl2 adsorption stability was investigated.A series of composite adsorbents composed of porous materials and CaCl2 were prepared, and their ammonia adsorption performance was measured by means of "positive pressure" gravimetric method.
