本研究旨在通过对大学英语写作作业的研究及实验,找出在审美主义话语和实用主义话语这两种不同语境下,学生作文在准确性和流利性上的差异。首先,笔者使用收集样本的方式对75名2006级非英语专业二年级学生的共20篇作文进行了分析研究,并运用定量的方法对所得数据进行了分析。参加本实验班级学生的两篇作文的差异体现在表达流畅性(coherence)、内容连贯性(cohesion)和句法复杂性(coordinate sentence)等方面上。研究结果表明学生的第二篇作文的沟通性和交际性明显地高于第一篇作文,其口语化程度却并不高,相反书面语程度较高。
The purpose of this research is to find out the differences between accuracy and fluency of students’ composition in the two different contexts of Aesthetic Discourse and Pragmatic Discourse by studying and experimenting with the writing of college English. First of all, the author uses the method of collecting samples to analyze and study a total of 20 essays of 75 2006 non-English sophomores, and analyzes the obtained data by quantitative methods. Differences between the two essays of students participating in this experimental class are expressed in the aspects of coherence, cohesion and coordinate sentence. The result shows that the communicativeness and communicativeness of the second essay are obviously higher than those of the first essay. However, the colloquial degree of the second essay is not high.
