This talk is devoted to explain how shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks(SICNNs)exhibit a version of the Li-Yorke chaos with continuous time dynamics and infinitely many unstable almost periodic solutions by implementing chaotic external inputs.Adhering to the nature of the post synaptic inputs, two different types of postsynaptic inputs will be introduced.By applying chaotic and almost periodic postsynaptic currents, the presence of almost periodic(quasi-periodic)outputs as well as the chaotic behavior of the SICNNs will be explained.Additionally, the relations between our theoretical results and biological meanings will be mentioned.Chaotic and quasi-periodic motions in SICNNs will be exemplified.
