2-Amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole-Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes (AMT- MWCNTs) derivates as ionophore of carbon paste sensor of Fe3+ exhibited an excellent Nernstain response for Fe3+ concentration range from 2.5×10-15–3.0×10-11 M with a detection limit of 9.0×10-16 M and a slope of 18.4±0.3 mV/dec in nitrate solution (pH=3,25 °C).The carbon paste sensor of Fe3+ has a pH range of 3.0–9.0 widely and response time of less than 25 s quickly.Moreover,the response mechanism of the proposed electrode was investigated by using alternating current (AC) impedance.
