The cabbage nuclear male sterility discovered in China is controlled by a dominant gene,which expressed in environment stable type and sensitive one under different gene backgrounds.Furthermore,temperature is the major factor to influence the sensitivity.Homozygous male sterile plants were screened from the selfing progenies of the environment sensitive male sterile plants.We studied three known genotype materials of dominant male sterile cabbage to find the molecular markers linked male sterility gene with 72 pairs of AFLP primers.E32M52 and E33M47 primers could amplify specific DNA bands in homozygous(MsMs)sterile plants,while 6 pairs of primers could amplify specific DNA bands in sterile plants(Ms-).The makers found in the study could be applied in maker assistant selection of dominant nuclear male sterile of cabbage.
