Synthesis of Monodisperse ErAG Powder via Microwave-assisted Homogeneous Precipitation

  Uniform erbium aluminum garnet(ErAG)precursors were successfully synthesized via a novel microwaveassisted homogeneous precipitation method.X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to characterize the samples.It was found that concentration of primary solution had great influence on the particle growth.Furthermore,The particle size of ErAG precursors grew with the increasing microwave power and microwave irradiation time.
