  Herpers simplex virus (HSV) is one of the common viruses which can infect human, and it is prevalent all over the world.HSV can be divided into two serotypes, type I and type Ⅱ.Type I is mainly transmitted orofacially, while sexual transmission also exists.Type Ⅱ is mainly transmitted sexually.The characteristics of latent infection, recurrent attack and lifelong carrier of HSV are related to its mechanism of immune evasion.HSV achieves latent and recurrent infection by avoiding the attack of human immune system.So far, no HSV vaccine is available.Some surface gycoproteins are the main antigenic determinants.The glycoprotein D (gD) plays a key role in the adsorption and fusion process of the virus entry into host cells, envelope glycoprotein C (gC) is related to immune evasion.Both gD and gC have already been selected as candidates for developing vaccine.This research mainly focuses on the immune effects of three recombinant glycoproteins, gC2, gD 1 and gD2.
