After May 12,Wenchuan earthquake,an organization and coordination mechanism of the wounded evacuation by helicopters was established rapidly due to wholehearted cooperation of various units and departments between military and the local,making transportation and treatment of the injured smooth and efficient,creating good conditions for the wounded rescue at the first time and opening up the "air life channel".Emergency air evacuation of the wounded by helicopter created a number of historical records:① The most helicopters were deployed.A total of 133 were used for the wounded evacuation by military and the local.② The most helicopter sorties were dispatched.
