Since MEMS microphone was introduced and promoted in 2003, it quickly found its application in mobile phone industry.Owing to its compelling advantages in size, SMT compatibility, reliability and application flexibility, the MEMS-based microphones have shown their presence in majority of high-end mobile phones, lap-top PCs, digital camera, camcorders and other consumer electronic products.Its world-wide market sales has gone through explosive growth and reached at about 600 million units in 2009.
