Extracts from the pineapple (Ananas comosus L.Merr.) has shown potential for the control of nematode parasites,as it has a biocontrol fungus,Clonostachys rosea f.rosea (Schroers).An experiment was conducted at the Ukulinga Research Farm using 24 Merino sheep (12 females and 12 males,aged 9-18 months) to test a combination of two natural anthelmintic treatments.
