  The effects of climate change on alpine desert vegetation are significant and the vegetation phenology changes also influence the number of herbivores.Thus the relationship between climatic factors and vegetation phenology has an important practical significance in biodiversity conservation.Taking Altun Mountain National Nature Reserve as a case,we used TIMESAT software to analyze vegetation dynamics and established the relationship between climate factors,standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index (SPEI) and vegetation phenology parameters based on SPOT-VGT NDVI data from 1999 to 2013.
