  Virus vaccines such as inactivated virus and virus-like particles are often more than twenty nanometers in size.Hence they can be regarded as nanoparticles having specific biological merits.The structures of these nanoparticles are complex with certain types of subunit assembly to elicit the antigenic reaction.Dissociation of these assembly will result in loss of their desired functionality.
