The lack of selective markers has been a key problem preventing sophisticated genetic manipulation in filamentous fungi,particularly industrial species such as the lignocellulose degrading Penicillium oxalicum.To resolve this problem,we constructed a genetic manipulation system that take advantage of two mature genetic systems: the Cre-loxP system and Tet-on system.
