In this work,we perform isobaric-isothermal Gibbs ensemble Monte Carlo simulations of ethanemethane hydrate at equilibrium with a binary ethane-methane vapour.By evaluating the Gibbs free energy of the sI and sⅡ hydrates it is possible to determine the vapour phase compositions for which the Sii hydrate is the more stable.
