　　The pre-oxidized SiO2 layer and salt-bath plated Ti5Si3 coating layer were developed on the surface of SiCP.Effects of surface states of SiCP on the microstructures and tensile properties of 2 vol.% SiCP/2014Al composites fabricated by stir casting were investigated.The dispersal uniformity of Ti5Si3-coated SiCP in the composites was better than that of pre-oxidized one.
