Along with arrival of knowledge economy age, tremendous changes occur in the environments,tasks and contents of ideological and political education at west Chinas higher educational institutions.From the problems in ideological and political education at west Chinas higher educational institutions under currently new situation, this paper proposes specific countermeasures, and hopes to enhance their ideological and political education to reach a new stage through some ways.
