Background:The nuclear factor of activated T-cells,cytoplasmic 3(NFATC3)belongs to a family of transcription factors that can orchestrate an effective immune response mainly in T cells.But the function of NFATC3 in hepatocytes has never been addressed.Based on our previous aCGH result,deletion of NFATC3 was frequently found in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),thereby we aim to determine the role NFATC3 plays in hepatitis B virus(HBV)related HCC.
