Aim: An attempt has been made to explore the neuroprotective and antitremor effect of baicalein on neurons against experimental Parkinsonism.Methods: In in vitro experiments, we found that baicalein could significantly ameliorate the 6-OHDA-induced SH-SY5Y cell apoptosis and also promote neurite outgrowth in PC12 cells.
