The inhibition effect of some inhibitors on super 13Cr stainless steel corrosion in CaCl2 completion fluids with 1.0MPa CO2 was investigated.Potentiodynamic polarization curves showed that urotropine and propargyl alcohol can decreased the current density and increased the pitting potential of super 13Cr steel in completion fluid obviously, which indicated that urotropine and propargyl alcohol had good inhibition on general and pitting corrosion of super 13Cr steel in CaCl2 brine.The fast scan current density (if) and slow scan current density (is) were got from the fast and slow scan curves, the value of parameter Pi was calculated based on if and is, Pi value increased after the addition of urotropine or propargyl alcohol, which indicated the SCC susceptivity of super 13Cr steel was decreased by inhibitor.The noise resistance (Rn) was calculated through electrochemical noise, Rn increased obviously after the addition of PA or urotropine, which indicated that the corrosion rate was decreased by propargyl alcohol and urotropine.Hang sheets experiment showed urotropine and PA can prevent super 13Cr steel from SCC in the test condition.
