OBJECTIVE To improve the encapsulation efficiency of BSA and the release of BSA in vitro, METHODS In this report, we fabricated BSA PLGA/PCADK microspheres with different PLGA/PCADK ratios.We used w/o/w double emulsion evaporation method to prepare protein microspheres.The total protein content in the supernatant was assayed using BCA Protein Assayed kit.We investigated the microenvironment pH value change of in-vitro release medium.RESULTS We found that when the ratio of PLGA and PCADK is 8:2, the microspheres in-vitro release behavior and encapsulation efficiency are the optimal.With the adding of PCADK amount, the microenvironment pH value change reduced.CONCLUSION We designed a series of formulations of BSA PLGA/PCADK microspheres with different PLGA/PCADK ratios to improve the in-vitro release behaviors and achieve more release than BSA PLGA microspheres.
