The arsenic effect on the cathode polarization process in zinc electrowinning, its kinetics equation and parameters, and its polarization mechanism are studied by multiple electroehemistry methods.Experiment was used three electrodes electrolytic vessel, cathode was platinum electrode,auxiliary electrode was Pb-Ag alloy, and reference electrode was saturated calomel electrode.Electrolyte was compounded of re-distilled water(g/L): H2SO4∶Zn=150∶60,temperature was holding by HHS-6 thermostatic bath.
