Objective Ischemia heart disease (IHD) is one of the leading causes of human death.Mitochondrion as an important organelle play important role in IHD.Previous studies revealed that Rg1 the major pharmacologically active ingredients of ginseng can protect cardiomyocytes against the hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) injury by enhancing myocardial angiogenesis and improving myocardial function.However, the mechanisms of Rg1s protective effects on mitochondrion remain unclear.The current study aims to investigate the mitochondrial protein change associated with the Rg1 in the H9c2 cell H/R model by proteomic techniques.
