  Nickel hydroxide is widely used in as the positive electrode material in rechargeable nickel-based batteries.Generally, it exists in two polymorphic forms, namely a-nickel hydroxide and β-nickel hydroxide.Previous studies proved that the crystalline state of nickel hydroxide has significant influence on its electrochemical performance.A low crystallization degree material is desirable in the battery because it means a higher electrochemical performance of nickel-based batteries.
