The androgen receptor (AR) plays a critical role in prostate cancer development and progression.The aim of this study is to use computer docking approaches to examine the interactions between the human AR and phytoestrogens (genistein, daidzein, and flavones), as well as xenoestrogens (bisphenol A, 4-nonylphenol, DDT, and DES).We established the predicted 3D structure of the AR and androgens, using the X-ray diffraction structure.Then we analyzed four xenoestrogens and three phytoestrogens, to AR, respectively.
