  High drying shrinkage is one of the key characteristics that restrict the application of alkali activated slag (AAS) in civil engineering.It is found that the high volume of pores between 1.25nm and 25nm is responsible for the high drying shrinkage.This investigation aims at improving the microstructure of AAS by using nano-TiO2 and metakaolin.
