The concept of multiple spacecraft formation flying has received increased interest in recent years.NASA and the U.S.Air Force have identified multiple spacecraft formation flying as an enabling technology for future space missions due to its many inherent advantages[l].One of the most challenging problems for formation flying is precise relative position and attitude control for spacecraft in formation, which results in strict requirements on control algorithms and measurement systems.
