Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is an important fuel gas.However, the presence of the trace inorganic ions, such as trace metal ions in fuels is generally undesirable, unless they are added on purpose, resulting in corrosion and deposition to the combustion equipments [1].The national standard of China (GB/T 13610-2003) mainly detected organic components in natural gas and the chemical compositions of analogous gas mixtures.But it is difficult to collect and detect the trace inorganic ions due to the limits of sampling and detection methods [2].Currently, no data related to trace inorganic ions has been reported in LPG.Therefore, developing an accurate measurement method for trace inorganic ions in LPG is required.
