At the time of diagnogis, 70% of lung cancers are inoperable and treatment efficacy is generally poor.The rational way to improve healthcare is to identify cancers at the earliest stages and to better predict the efficacy of treatment.Both are major objectives of the Chemores Consortium.The main difficulty observed today in cancer literature is the very limited capacity to separate the prognostic and predictive value of markers related to response to chemotherapy.We have designed a statistically relevant study, which we believe to be entirely original, which confers a very important competitive advantage on the Chemores Consortium, This unique design is based on the use of four groups of patients with respect to therapy regimen and clinical outcome.
