  This paper concentrates on the self-healing properties of concrete with water and coagulant-filled halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)as additive.Halloysite nanotubes with a length of 0.5-1μm,and outer diameter of ca.50nm and a lumen of 15nm were used and firstly filled with water and coagulant through ultrasonic method,and then the nanotubes were sealed with end stopper.Different volume content(0%~5%)of halloysite nanotubes were added into concrete with a water-cement ratio of 0.5 and a percolation curve could be got,which would help choose the most appropriate content of halloysite nanotubes.
