D-amino acids have long been considered to have important functions only in microorganisms,which utilize some D-amino acids to construct the peptidoglycan layer of their cell wall.However,several D-amino acids have been detected in many organisms including mammals because of the advance of analytical techniques.It was realized that D-amino acids might play important roles in living things and as the important component of medicine,agricultural chemical and foodstuff.In order to get a better analyzing and understanding the significant role of a small amount of D-amino acids in tissue samples,separation of them from complex mixture is of great importance and a challenge requiring determination techniques with high sensitivity,selectivity and efficiency.Herein,a microfluidic device integrated with enzyme(D-amino acid oxidase,DAAO)coated wire electrode as working electrode(DAAO/Cu-Sn-Cr/Pt electrode),which is promising in high-throughput and complex biological analysis,was designed for efficient separation and high sensitivity determination of D-amino acids in biological samples.
