棉花不同亚基因组数据比较、功能与演化分析

陆地棉(upland cotton,拉丁名Gossypium hirsutum)是世界最主要的天然纤维来源,具有重要的经济价值.作为同时拥有两套亚基因组的异源四倍体(AADD,2n=52),陆地棉的基因组和功能基因组分析都极具挑战性.为了更准确、完整地刻画棉花基因组的全貌,全面阐述棉属(Gossypium)物种的进化史,我们选取了A和D两个亚基因组可能的供体种后代——亚洲棉(Gossypium arboreum)和雷蒙德氏棉(Gossypium raimondii),作为首先进行全基因组解析的对象.
