Background,Motivation and Objective Supersonic shear wave imaging(SSI) in arteries is typically applied in the longitudinal view,as this facilitates acquisition of shear wave(SW) propagation.However,the collagen fibers in arteries are mainly circumferentially oriented to bear the load,leading to typical pressure-induced stiffening.
