OBJECTIVES:This study aims to explore electroacupuncture (EA) analgesic effect by observing the sciatic C-fiber reflex and nociceptive behavior test in rats.METHODS:Experiments are conducted in 8 SD male rats. Each rat was anesthetized, the left sural nerve was stimulated by test stimulation (a series of 6 equal pulses (0.2Hz,2ms)) and the test stimulation induced electromyogram (EMG) were recorded from the ipsilateral biceps femoris muscle to measure the threshold of Aδ and C-fiber reflex (TAδ,TC).
