Gas hydrate distribution in the pore space of the sediments has significant impact on acoustic properties of the host sediments.Based on the high-resolution industrial x-ray computerized tomography (X-CT),in-situ pore scale distribution of gas hydrate was observed directly during hydrate formation and subsequently dissociation in 0.425-0.85mm sands in a high-pressure cell.
