Plant bacterial pathogens grow in the apoplast where they acquire necessary nutrients.Plant immunity controls bacterial growth but it is unclear that how and what plant defense outputs regulate bacterial activity to control bacterial growth in the apoplast. We studied apoplast protein profiles in Arabidopsis infected with Pseudomonas syringaepv.tomato DC3000 (Pto) using a quantitative proteomics approach.
