The nonlinear resonance analysis of a FGM truncated conical shell subjected to the aerodynamic load, in-plane and transverse excitations are investigated in this paper.Material properties are assumed to be temperature-dependent and the constituents of FGM truncated conical shell are graded in thickness direction according to a simple power law function in terms of the volume fractions.A first-order piston theory is applied for the hypersonic aerodynamic load.
