The vibration characteristics of the hybrid laminated plates with various thicknesses of core materials under various boundary edge conditions are investigated.The hybrid plates composed of aluminum (Al) core and carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) outer-layers are used for many mechanical structures due to low costs and attractive mechanical properties.Especially for the out-of-plane problem, outer layers have greater influences to bending stiffnesses than inner layers and CFRP/Al hybrid laminated plates have advantages.
