Malignant melanoma is one of the most dangerous types of cancer, which causes 75% of deaths related to skin cancer. It is more common in Australia, North America and northern Europe.1 Recent years, malignant melanoma diagnosis was increasing in Asia and related studies were progressing.2Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), which expresses in the nuclear during DNA synthesis, has been used as proliferation marker of diagnostic and prognostic value in melanoma.3 But PCNA expression has not been analyzed in different malignant melanoma types.Fas/APO-1 (CD95) is anapoptosis-signaling receptor and expresses on cell membrane.
