It is analyzed and pointed out the imperfections of the single epoch deformation monitoring method based on relativepositioning principle.This paper conducts an intensive study on the deformation features of monitoring objects using thedeformation transformation matrix of rectangular space coordinate and topocentric Cartesian coordinate,and then proposes a deformation estimation method which gives consideration to the prior information of the deformation features of monitoring objects.Finally,a case is studied from the high-rate RINEX data of four IGS sites around Mw9.0 earthquake zone in Japan.Deformation monitoring results show both precision and convergence of the deformation solution are improved effectively,the conclusion from deformation analysis is agreement with the current results,and the proposed method is proved to be effective and reliable.
