Spring viraemia of carp (SVC) is a viral disease that causes outbreaks in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) and several other freshwater fish.Zebrafish is getting more attention as an infection model and some experimental infections have been conducted with different bacteria and virus.Recently, zebrafish have been shown to be susceptible to infection with the rhabdovirus spring viraemia of carp virus (SVCV).In order to investigate viral pathogenesis process in liver and capture liver inflammation expression signature/profile.SVCV-A 1 was infected with zebrafish and captured at the 24hr, 48hr and 96hr time points. The zebrfish livers were separated from the body for microarray and fixed in buffered formalin for different staining: Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining and other Immunohistochemistry staining (E-cadherin and Cytokeratin-18), ApopTag staining and Periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining.
