The Paleozoic siliceous rocks developed in the Xunyang Basin, which is of great significance to the Paleozoic sedimentary environment and tectonic setting of the South Qinling orogenic belt. This paper focuses on the Devonian siliceous rocks in Luhe area of the Xunyang basin. Based on the analysis of their field occurrences, petrology and mineralogy, geochemistry and microstructural features, The paper analyzes the formation of Paleozoic cherts in the Xunyang basin and the Paleozoic tectonic setting of the South Qinling orogenic belt.
