In this experiment, Xuntian969 was used to study the effect of different plant growth regulators on the grain filling characteristics and grain weight in maize.The grain filling process of maize with different plant growth regulators treatment was imitated by Richard Growth equation in order to explain the changes of grain dry matter, grain filling rate and grain weight.The results showed that the increment of grain dry matter in maize with the different plant growth regulators treaments presented a "S"curve change.The grain filling process could be extremely well described by Richard model,since the determination coefficints of Richard equation were between 99.97 and 99.98,which achieved a significant level.The average grain filling rates and the biggest grain-filling rtes were two main elect to affect the same cultivar grain weight, and duration of high-filling rate of kernel was one main elect to affect the different plant growth regulators,YuHuangJin treatments enhanced the final dry matter weight significantly,improved grain filling parameters,finally enhanced the grain weight.
