How to produce semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotube (s-SWNT) arrays on surface is still a challenging task.We reported herein a rational procedure analogous to surfactant-assisted decontamination process to wash off the metallic single-walled carbon nanotubes (m-SWNTs) from horizontally aligned nanotube arrays on ST-cut quartz surface using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) aqueous solution with assistance of ultrasonication.
