The cytochrome P450 family of enzymes (P450) is known to play significant roles in the metabolism of insecticides in many insect species.PxCYP321A1 is one of P450 isoenzymes found in Plutella xyllostella.The results of pre-experimental show that it is likely to involved the resistance of P.xylostella against chlorantraniliprole.In order to understand the mechanisms of ligand binding and interaction between the PxCYP321A1 and chlorantraniliprole, a three-dimensional (3D) model of the PxCYP321A1 was generated based on the crystal structure of the cytochrome P4503A4 by using MODELER module.
