Tyrosinase inhibitors and antioxidants are becoming increasingly important in the cosmetic and medicinal industries due to their preventive effects in pigmentation disorders and skin aging1.Prunus tomentosa Thunb.belongs to the Prunus subgenus Lithocerasus in the family Rosaceae, and is widely distributed in China, Japan and Korea.
