Background A previous genome-wide association study(GWAS)has identified Single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)rs6817105 on chromosome 4q25 associated with the risk of atrial fibrillation(AF)in European descent population.Our study was designed to determine the association between rs6817105 and AF risk in a Chinese Han population.
