Plasmonicnanoparticles have been widely applied in many fields including biology,chemistry and catalysis due to their unique localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) property.As the development of dark-field microscopy,the resonance scattering spectra of single nanoparticle was observed.Sensors based on single nanoparticle exhibit high sensitivity and selectivity for the morphology,composition and surrounding medium dependent surface plasmon resonance band.
