  Personalized cancer therapy is a cutting-edge area including all aspects of individualized patient management driven by characterization of tumor, microenvironment and host characteristics (i.e, diagnosis, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunology, etc).The "theranostic nanoparticles" defined as a material that combined diagnostic and therapeutic functions in one integrated system, which the functionalized nanoparticles can significantly improve the effectiveness and specificity of therapy to cancers that are currently difficult to treat for personalized medicine therapy.
