Considering weight,cost and heat dispassion,it is significant to develop light-weight and high-efficient heat sink for LED streetlights.Within kinds of approaches,heat sinks consist with heat pipes and fins attract wide popularity,for its light weight,preferable heat dissipation,complete supply chains and hence appropriate costs.In another hand,it is a common sense that standardized streetlight light source module will be the future developing trend of streetlight industry for its uniform specification and materials,easy maintenance,flexible formations and etc.This paper developed a light-weight and high-efficient module with standard optical and thermal interface specifies CSA-016-2012 for LED streetlights.
