Since the breakthrough on a dye-sensitized solar cell(DSC) in 1991,both power conversion efficiency(PCE) and long-term stability of this nanostructured device have been considerably ameliorated.It has been witnessed that a photosensitizer plays a crucial role on the gradual performance enhancement of DSCs.
